Our Bailey is 6 1/2 years old. Bailey has Lymphoma and is going through IV Chemo for over 8 months now. She came out of remission about 3 weeks ago, however after many prayers she is back in remission. Bailey is a gentle, beautiful soul who loves her stuffed animals. She loves to go for walks, loves to chase Gekco's here in Florida, loves to swim after the fish back at the Lakehouse in Ontario. Bailey lost her Daddy our Golden Laker this past December 11, 2012. She is very sad and it would make her happy and her mommy and daddy to vote for her. Golden Hugs.

Stuffed animals, gekcos, fish, people and other Golden Retrievers, her friends Mavis and Kona
Dislikes: 
Loosing her BFF, Laker and not knowing where Mommy and Daddy are in the house, she is our shadow.

Hot dogs, ice cream, steak, ham. Actually, just about anything.
Favorite Pastimes: 
Walking, playing, fishing, chasing Gekcos, playing with her friends.

I am one in a group of Extreme Puppy Watchers (EPWs) - we watch a puppy cam sharing the beginning lives of future service dogs (labs & goldens). We've come upon this contest and Laker & Bailey have tugged at our hearts, so we collectively are voting for them to each be Dog of the Week. We all hope Bailey is doing well.

We are devastated to have lost both our Golden's within 4 months of each other. Please continue your votes. It looks like Laker will win this Monday Dog of the Week, which will be one week to the day our Bailey crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We pick up her ashes from the Vet this Monday as well. Thank you NJS. We appreciated your prayers. We have a rescue Golden named Chloe. Bailey was with us and Chloe for 6 weeks before she passed and helped our rescue Chloe come out of her shell. She is also on Modern Dog photo contest. We just put her on last week.

Her Daddy Laker was Dog of the Week last week and now they are together again running pain free at the Rainbow Bridge. Both Laker and Bailey have come to us after passing. Laker's paw rested on my leg while I was in bed and Bailey has come to us through our dreams. Our Rescue Chloe looks up at Bailey's picture everyday and just stares at it for about 5 minutes before putting her head down with sad eyes. Tears flow everyday for our furbabies and you all have brought us joy with your votes and prayers. Blessing and Golden Hugs, Nancy, Mel and Chloe.
