Photo Contest

Elvis is a rescue dog from Virginia. Elvis showed up to someone's house one day as a stray dog, the people called animal control. They came out and took the stray lonely pup and put him up to be claimed. Unfortunately nobody claimed the poor baby thus them putting him down, however a family from New Jersey got wind of the brindle warrior and adopted him. He was shipped up to NJ for an abundant amount of money, and the family named the stray, Ripple. Unfortunately Ripple was too big for them to handle due to their two smaller children. Ripple was put up for adoption once again after only being with the family for two months. Alone once more in a shelter. I at the time was searching for a best four legged friend at the time and came across Ripple on a website. Loved his pictures and went to go meet him. Ripple was simply the best and bringing him home was the right choice for him and I. I renamed him Elvis just because of how much attention he gets whenever he is out walking. Him and I changed each others lives.
