Modern Dog Photo Contest

When we first brought Hollie home a month ago, I think we were more scared than she was. She was 'broken'. I remember thinking, this poor scared Doberman is going to attack me, and attack our other dog...yet deep down I knew I could get through to her. She only tried to bite me once, and I wanted to cry, not because I was scared, but because I knew it wasn't her fault. I just kept showering her with love, holding her and stroking her head every night, and within days I could see the trust and love in her eyes. She is a remarkable dog, and I have vowed to give her, and our Boxer, Cali, the kind of lives a dog could only dream of.
