Best in Show: Scottish Terrier Wins Top Prize at Westminster

A four-and-half-year-old Scottish Terrier named Sadie won Best in Show at the 134th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, held at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Monday and Tuesday, February 15th and 16th. Sadie, a.k.a. Ch. Roundtown Mercedes of Maryscot, is the eighth Scottish Terrier to be awarded the top-dog crown.

Over the last five years, dogs that took the top title of Best In Show were:
2009: Stump, a 10-year-old Sussex Spaniel. This senior dog’s surprise victory thrilled the crowd
2008: Uno, the first Beagle to win the show
2007: James, an English Springer Spaniel
2006: Rufus, a coloured Bull Terrier
2005: Carlee, a German Shorthaired Pointer
