The first annual Delta Community Animal Expo

The first annual Delta Community Animal Expo will take place on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at Memorial Park and July 26th, 2009 at Annieville Lions Park from 10:00am to 4:00pm in Delta, BC. This free community event, an initiative of the Delta Community Animal Shelter, is designed to promote animal safety, awareness and responsible pet ownership.
Multiple rescue groups with a variety of small animals will be out to educate the public on their organizations and the services they provide. The event will also feature demonstrations, a pet parade, contests, and prizes. There will be 20 to 30 organizations participating at this event, including rescue groups, animal trainers, pet food distributors, and animal wellness groups.
