If these carpets could talk...

Please note: That giant wet spot is not what you think it is.
In honour of "Take your dog to work" day, I decided to bring all three of my kiddies to the Modern Dog office with me. It seemed like such a good idea last night, but, in retrospect, it was not. As I sit here at my desk surrounded by ruined toys, cotton innards and wet carpets (that's an upset water bowl, not a gigantic lapse in house-training), I wonder who was it that convinced us all that bringing your pets to work was supposed to decrease your stress? More than likely, it reduces your coworkers' stress because they are so busy enjoying your furrry companions' antics that they become infinitely relaxed. I see now that I've been misled.

I use to be able to take my pet work, but changed jobs and currently work at a dentist office. If there was ever a place where a pet could really be useful that would be it, but the law says no. Oh how I hate having to say goodbye to my best friends every morning.
Ya thats what my carpets use to look like, between waterbowl and my one pom thinking that every single floor matt or any room with carpet is one big pee pad, I use to live in a condo, on the third floor, so had her pee pad trained to go out onto the balcony pee pad there, but when i went to work i would put it just inside the sliding glass door, as i could not leave the patio door open when i wasn't home, because i faced a court yard, and she would just go out and bark, and have it echo evrywhere! But it was fine when i just had her and know carpet!
Then i got pom # 2 who was a rescue and 7 yrs old, and trained only to go out side, so now we are in a house, and the bedrooms have carpet, but the rescue pom(ruby) hates walking on bare floors, freaks her out, so i had to put down landing pads, ( carpet matts) everywhere so that she could run from rug to rug, to get around the house, otherwise she won't walk accross the bare laminate floors, as it freaks her, out, so now my other pom, (sassy) thinks there is pee pads all over the house for her!! She is eight yrs old and is not going to change! Anyway dogs gotta love them!
