The White House Decorates for the Holidays... With a Bunch of Little Bo’s

The White House is getting into the holiday spirit, doggone it. It unveiled its holiday decorations this week, and a certain four-legged member of the Obama family is represented throughout the White House. In addition to 37 Christmas trees and a 400-pound gingerbread, marzipan, and white chocolate White House—an exact replica, complete with tiny furniture, art, and chandeliers, there are an abundance of tributes to the First Dog, from ornaments to topiaries, including a “Button Bo,” a “Liquorice and Marshmallow Bo,” a four-and-a half-foot tall “felt Bo,” heck, even a “garbage bag Bo” made of, you guessed it, trash bags.

"We have so many Bo's this year, all different kinds and shapes," says floral designer Heather Cooper.

Take a look at the behind-the-scenes process of making the "Button Bo" and be one of the first to get a glimpse of all the Bo decorations throughout the White House.
